The gravel and dirt from the creek bed is fed into the sluice before the water is released from a holding tank which is behind. This carries it down the sluice.

We decided to take the motorhome to Alaska and spend most of the spring and the summer. We had already rented a home in Emigrant, Mt for a month and will incorporate that into the trip. We expect to get to Alaska the first or second week of June.
