This is a picture of Jack London's cabin in Dawson City, it had been moved from the mining area about 5 miles into Dawson. Jack London, author of "Call of the Wild" was a young man when he decided to be involved in the Klondike Gold Rush, he actually staked a claim and mined although he did not become rich which was the case for most of the miners. This experience did provide the settings for his famous books.
