I constantly admire this view out the front window of the house. Much of the snow stays year around. The weather yesterday was windy which was the main factor. It was around 40 degrees at our house and 30 degrees at the top of Yellowstone at Old Faithful. The wind was the only problem. When the wind stops and the sun shines it gives a warmth that puts you back in a tee shirt. The trip to Yellowstone was great and there was just so much wildlife along the roads that it took a while to get home because we did not want to hit and elk or a beaver or a buffalo or a deer. There were grizzley bears running along the rivers that we took pictures and long horned sheep running up the sides of solid rock mountains, dont know how they do that.
Went to Chico Springs last night with Pat and Jonathan and soaked in the thermal pool for about two hours while 3 one dollar beers went down pretty fast. The water was 96 degrees and the pool is outside and was pretty crowded. The steam off the pool about 10 at night made it really nice. We then went into saloon and there was a Celtic Bluegrass band playing a nd the place was mobbed. We then played shuffle board for about an hour before we went home
