The highway between Lake Louise and Jasper is called the icefield parkway. Here Jan is at the Columbia Icefields, they do off a specially fitted bus that takes you onto the glacier. It was $49.00 Canadian a person which was a bit steep. We will see plenty of Glaciers in Alaska so we passed. This "finger" of the glacier lays right beside the highway. The glacier itself covers many square miles.
