In Grande Prairie we decided to go to the local rodeo, we went to the evening show which was the Chuckwagon races. It is like harness racing but with a metal chuckwagon pulled by 4 horses. This sport is a big deal and has a professional association that races all around western Canada. It was fun, but dusty, and the grandstands were packed, this was a grande prairie celebration.
