The roads were good and only wet and little bit of ice on the summits. They close the roads a lot in the winter and have gates permanently positiioned to close when the conditions deteriorate.
We decided to take the motorhome to Alaska and spend most of the spring and the summer. We had already rented a home in Emigrant, Mt for a month and will incorporate that into the trip. We expect to get to Alaska the first or second week of June.
