The rocks behind the sign look like old coke ovens where people made a living "cooking" coal to get it ready for steelmaking and then sell it to the steel companies.

We decided to take the motorhome to Alaska and spend most of the spring and the summer. We had already rented a home in Emigrant, Mt for a month and will incorporate that into the trip. We expect to get to Alaska the first or second week of June.
